Turbine Features updated G-series
Compressor Aero
A forged, fully-machined compressor wheel and new aerodynamics increase engine power. Designed with the latest computational solutions, the compressor wheel increases airflow by up to 15% for a 60mm wheel and 30% for a 67mm wheel with an efficiency of 79-80%. (Compared to GTX GenII)
If you need a twin-turbo layout - turbines with forward and reverse rotation are available. Also, the reversible layout is suitable for those who are faced with a lack of engine compartment space or engine features (installing a turbocharger in the engine collapse).
Rotation speed sensor
The new speed sensor is easy to install and does not require length adjustment like previous versions. Simply remove the plug, then insert the speed sensor and tighten the bolt. New & nbsp; speed sensor is sold separately and is not interchangeable with GT and GTX sensors due to & nbsp; new design and dimensions.
Adding an O-ring between the compressor casing and the rear reduces & nbsp; the likelihood of a pressure leak.
Cartridge body
The new one-piece cartridge is now one piece with the backplate, which improves product durability and safety. The V-band connection of the turbine to the hot housing allows the turbine to rotate 360 degrees when installed with a Garrett turbine housed without a wastegate.
Cooling
Four large ports increase fluid flow and improve cooling capacity. The turbocharger is supplied with two -6AN fittings and two plugs.
*It is recommended to install the cooling circuit on opposite sides of the case.
Oil supply
A single-stage oil passage directs pressurized oil into the new lubrication system, providing adequate lubrication to the bearings on both sides of the cartridge.
Each turbocharger includes a -4AN oil restrictor with a 1mm bore to provide the turbine with lubrication at a recommended oil pressure of 40psi.
Double ball bearing cartridge
The shortened bearing cartridge allowed us to fit double piston rings on both sides of the shaft. This will reduce the likelihood of oil leakage in the seals from the centre housing to the compressor and/or turbine.
Turbine wheel aerodynamics
The turbine wheel has completely new aerodynamic characteristics for improved flow and response. The new turbine wheel is made of Mar-M superalloy and is able to withstand exhaust gas temperatures up to 1050 degrees Celsius.
The new turbine wheel has 15-20% more flow than the GTX wheel.
Turbine housing
All G Series housings are constructed from stainless steel for maximum durability and heat resistance up to 1050 degrees Celsius. Housing is available in a variety of configurations with and without wastegate, T25 and V-band, be careful and order the part that suits your needs.

The G-series G25-550 and G25-660 turbochargers are compatible with 1.4-2.0 L engines and are capable of delivering up to 550-660 horsepower. G-Series turbochargers are smaller and superior to all comparable products on the market.
The new compressor and turbine combined with high-temperature materials allowed engineers to push the boundaries of performance.
The new name signifies a new generation of cutting-edge technology and innovation.
Explanation of the name:
G25-550 || G25-660
G marks 81 years of Garrett® heritage.
25 classifies the kernel size. The remaining 3 digits represent the maximum power of the turbocharger. (i.e. 550/660)
